Liberty Utilities to Host Groundbreaking for New Customer Service Center
JACKSON, MO – June 12, 2017 – Liberty Utilities announced today that it will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., for a new Customer Service Center, located at 32097 State Rt. 4, Girard, Illinois.
The facility will include a 3,250 square foot office and 4,550 square foot warehouse and equipment storage building.
“We look forward to this new facility which will improve accessibility, convenience and parking for our customers,” says Mike Beatty, Vice President Gas Operations, Liberty Utilities – Central. “The additional space afforded by the 5-acre site will also enhance the safe and efficient movement of operations equipment and vehicles.”
The Customer Service Center will serve approximately 3,500 customers in 72 communities, over a large geographical area. Penzel Construction was chosen to build the facility with completion scheduled for late 2017.
